This October, Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, Simon Harris TD, and Skillnet Ireland Chief Executive, Paul Healy, launched a new initiative, Skills Connect. Skills Connect aims to help workers severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic to rapidly reskill, securing new roles within their sector, or undertake innovative conversion courses to access job opportunities in new sectors.
#SkillsConnect supports workers who have lost their jobs due to #COVID19. It offers rapid reskilling, job placements & employer mentoring, to help people take up new opportunities. It is free for eligible individuals with a range of tailored programmes. www.skillsconnect.ie
